Basket Auction
It's just not a Mahoning Valley event without some good baskets to try to take home!
All the proceeds from our basket raffle and silent auction go to benefit PolishYoungstown's youth programming, like the Krakowiaki Polish Folk Circle.
The Krakowiaki was created to share our rich, colorful Polish heritage with the next generation. The instructors strive to convey to participants an appreciation of our authentic Polish culture and heritage through exploration of dance, music, language study and folk art in a fun and supportive environment. The youth dancers and adult choir perform throughout the region at schools and senior facilities as well as various civic, community and private events.
But we need your help to make our efforts a success!
You, your employer, or both can donate an item to the Silent Auction or Basket Raffle. Some items that have sold well in other auctions are gift baskets include vodka, holiday items, children’s items, food items, gift certificates, electronic equipment, artwork and books.
WHY DO IT? Your donation might qualify for a federal charitable contribution deduction, but it will definitely help us to educate the next generation about our colorful culture and its influence on the Mahoning Valley.
