Zapraszamy! You're invited!

Join us for the annual celebration of our Polish heritage!

Thanks to dedicated Team members and support of people like you, PolishYoungstown in a very short time has become one of the most vibrant, active organizations in the Mahoning Valley. We host a social event once a month as a fundraiser for a local non-profit, offer a community education activity quarterly and, via our umbrella organizations, offer weekly programs for children and scholarships for college students.
This year we have made strides to collaborate with other organizations within the community and region to host a variety of educational events that were open to the public and widely covered by the media. These partnership organizations include respected groups like Millcreek MetroParks, Public Library of Youngstown & Mahoning County, Butler Museum of Art, Youngstown State University, its Center of Judaic Studies and The Jewish Federation.

BUT POLISH DAY IS THE ONE FUNDRAISING EVENT WE DO ALL YEAR

Our organizational mission is to develop events that would inspire area residents to learn more about all things Polish and Polish Heritage Day is the epitome of that year-long effort. This year's event will feature two polka bands, 12 folk vendors, a pierogi-eating contest, Polish lessons and a variety of cultural workshops.

COME OUT TO HAVE FUN AND SHOW YOUR SUPPORT

A quality festival of this type can cost upward of $20,000, and the income from our Sponsors needs to cover about 75 percent of that cost. Please considering joining us by becoming part of this valuable group. Here's how: for a monetary contribution according to the entry level, you will receive an ad in our program book, your company logo on 15,000 flyers, posters, banners and free passes for your family and friends, as well as an invitation to our Appreciation event as our guests. Learn more about it here.

Or perhaps instead you would like to give of your time. We are looking for people who want to help PolishYoungstown share the joy of our Polish and Polish-American culture, food and entertainment. Volunteers are needed for everything from ticket sales to assisting with the cultural workshops to selling bowls of pierogi. Can you donate two hours of your time? We are flexible about the shift times and responsibilities. There is something for every skill and capability! In exchange, you get into the event for free! The first 50 volunteers even get FREE Polish Day t-shirts! Learn more about it here.

Your involvement will make this year's event an extra special celebration!
