Welcome to The Krakowiaki Polish Folk Circle The Krakowiaki Polish Folk Circle conducted an informational session at the YSU English Festival earlier this week. Choreographer Cathy Pilat Katrenich with the help of three costumed dancer enlightened the high school students about Poland, its history and culture. The two dozen or so students tried on costumes and even got up and danced! See some pics and video HERE. The group was invited by PYtownTeam member & YSU English department staffer Angela Messenger as a tie in to the featured book In My Hands: Memories of a Holocaust Rescuer, the Irene Gut Updike story.
