Her “perfectly imperfect interiors” are such the rage that they even caught the attention of design mavens at The New York Times Magazine.   Her motto: “In rooms, like in clothes, it’s comfort and timelessness that interest me.” See some pictures and read more about this story and other news in Poland at our Polish Media Watch

Calendar Highlights
While prepping for Wigilia dinner, all the buzz is about Sylwester, New Year’s Eve. The celebrations of New Year's Eve in Poland are vibrant! Traditionally, Christian Poles have devoted each day on the calendar to a particular saint for adoration and devotion to that saint. December 31 is named after St. Sylvester, and thusly named. Celebrations partake both indoor and out, with the most notable open-air concert being held in the rynek  in Krakow. Here 150,000 to 200,000 revelers celebrate the New Year with live music and a fireworks display over St. Mary's Basilica. Similar festivities are held in other cities around Poland including Wrocław.

Closer to home, Polonia is planning to flock to the newly acquired Polish Home in Slavic Village in Cleveland. Elegant appetizers, tasty entrees and fun music will be the rule of the night!  For more info call 216-641-5789
